Week 24

I must say that I've been a bit indulgent about desserts this weekend. . . I made an apple cake on Friday night and a batch of fudgey brownies tonight!  Just irresistible! 

Next week is the last week before school starts for both of my big girls!  Emilie is going to Kindergarten and Annabelle into third grade.  They get to meet their teachers on Thursday and I think we're all looking forward to getting back into the routine of school.  Zach is going to be seriously lonely without his sisters to play with and taunt.  :(

So, here's the menu for this week.  I have to go shopping for sides, so I'll just stick to the main courses:

Sunday - Fish tacos, black beans, white rice, seared bell pepper and onions
Monday - Meatloaf
Tuesday - Baked Chicken with veggies
Wednesday - Turkey burgers
Thursday - Seared Salmon with Emeril seasoning
Friday - Spaghetti with meat sauce, zucchini noodles (Paleo)
Saturday - Chicken tacos

  1. Just finished mine, you are inspiring me to stay on track!
    Sunday: chicken with spinach, mushroom and tomatoes, rice, salad
    Monday: grilled flank steak, bell peppers stuffed with tomatoes and corn
    Tuesday: your Thai basil shrimp, it looks yummy!
    Wednesday: leftovers/late work night
    Thursday: citrus chicken, grilled zucchini and yellow squash
    Friday: turkey burgers with horseradish sauce, roasted potatoes and rutabagas, broccoli
    Saturday: eating out at Fontaine's (grilled fish of some sort)

  2. This weeks menu has a few repeats from last week because I ended up not making those dishes (because I was lazy)

    Sunday - grilled chicken alfredo with whole wheat garlic bread and salad (rhubarb peach crisp for desert)
    Monday - mini meatloaves
    Tuesday - homemade chicken nuggets
    Wednesday - pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage
    Thursday- chicken fajitas
    Friday - grilled hotdogs and hamburgers
    Saturday - chili in the crockpot (Eric is dying for chili... I think he wants fall to be here)

  3. Sunday: soupe au pistou, cucumber salad, kiwi
    Monday: broiled cod with dill, wild rice, green beans, grapes.
    Tuesday: steak, broccoli and red potatoes, valencia oranges
    Wednesday: pan fried salmon filets, corn on the cob, green salad, watermelon
    Thurday: ham, sweet potatoes, peas, golden delicious apples
    Friday: curry soup, risotto with ham and mushroom, fruit salad
    Saturday: Spanish omelet with left over ham, cheese and fruits
